Edition 26-07-2019: End of the 2nd Season
The second season of the SEO Bilbao Event ends and in my opinion, the balance is very positive: in this course, the community has grown from only 23 attendees in September ’18, to a record of 104 and 133 attendees at the events of Fernando Tellado, Lino Uruñuela, and Lucía Marín (although in the end there are always last-minute cancellations).
We are very happy with the initiative of Gorka Goikoetxea to open other types of more participatory formats, like the round table of the last summer event, where we talked about the future of SEO Positioning and a very interesting debate was generated about brands, semantics, and where everyone could contribute. It was a continuation of the already unforgettable TerraSEO, which took place at the Auzo Factory in Matiko -with impressive views of the ‘Botxo’- where there were spontaneous talks and a lot of practice, SEO on the ground, with audits of the websites sent by you.
In all editions, it has been very rewarding to see new faces that actively participate.
My small contribution has been the NotiSEO, although I have failed in some months due to lack of time (sorry ?), but in general, all participants, both regulars and sporadic, have contributed to keeping this event alive, which is much needed in Bilbao and the entire northern area, where web positioning is not so well known.
The popularity of the event grows every day. In fact, we already have sponsors like SiteGround, Pizzería Coppola, and Cerveza Oro Bilbao.
Anyway, if you haven’t signed up yet, you should do it now 😉 in September the next events will return with new surprises and as always, they will be open to everyone, you can participate, no matter your level, you can share knowledge, tools, projects, ask questions… whatever you want.
And if you are an SEO Agency or a Freelancer, it is an excellent opportunity to make yourself known.
We usually meet at Uribitarte 6, in the auditorium of the BBF Building (Bilbao Berrikuntza Faktoria), but if you know a place where events can be held with a projector and audio, the organizers are open to any proposal.
